City hall is where residents residing within the city limits can pick up blue recycling bins and free mulch. The bins can be picked Monday-Friday from 8-5. If you are interested in the mulch, please contact Celeste at 706-864-6133 to make arrangements for pick up. If you would like it delivered, there will be a $25 charge. This is also the location for city hall park for outdoor recreation.

City Hall is well-integrated in helping the environment. They are taking every chance they get to go green. They understand what is needed to be as efficient as possible. Being City Hall, they also have a lot of influence over the rest of Dahlonega towards going green.

Ways they have been eco-friendly include:

· Recycle paper, cardboard, plastic, glass, aluminum cans

· Recycle bins are given to each residence that signs up for trash removal

· Use paper towels in the restrooms

· Heating and air are regulated to conserve energy

· Working towards energy efficient bulbs

· Use recycled paper

· Use flyers and email for announcements
