Len Foote Hike Inn is a one of a kind outdoor experience. If you like hiking but prefer the comfort of a soft bed and good food at night, this is the ideal combination for you. The hike is a moderate 5 mile hike that begins at the top of Amicalola Falls. It takes approximately 2-4 hours to get to the inn. Once there, you will be amazed by this very unique and environmentally friendly little inn. The inn received a gold level certification in leadership in energy and environmental design. They use composting toilets, solar panels, rain water harvesting, and vermiculture. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are all served at the inn family style and consist of all organic food. Everything at the inn is organic and returned to soil through vermiculture (using red wiggler worms). This process is truly unique and most people find it fascinating to see. Below is a link to their website. Reservations are required, so be sure and call ahead. Enjoy!
