2009 Green Energy Ohio - Solar Home Tour
The Bair Residence was completed in July 2008 and is the couples' “Erie Dream”. This super insulated and all electric home is covered by a massive 9kW solar array comprised of forty-eight Evergreen 190W PV modules. A cutting edge Xantrex XW system maintains reliable and uninterrupted electricity to the home supplied from either the solar panels or the utility grid. Backup power is stored in eight MK Battery maintenance-free gel cell batteries. Come see one of the largest residential solar installations in Ohio.
