Technology: Photovoltaics 8.3 kW Sharp / Fronius inverter
Estimated Annual Production: PVWatts (an industry tool) estimates almost 9 mWh will be generated by the system.
Estimated Utility Savings: At 12cents/kW that is an annual savings of $1080. But more impressive than that is that the 9 SRECS (Solar Renewable Energy Credits) can be sold for $2250.

Other home features: Additionally in the last two years, we have upgraded all of our house systems to high efficiency (95%) furnaces and heat pumps/16 SEER AC units. Installed a tankless water heater, and added whole house humidifiers and air filtering. We have replaced all windows and doors & installed insulated siding as well as using blown in insulation for our vaulted ceilings.
