McKenna's Inn Bed and Breakfast
Overview
McKenna's Inn Bed and Breakfast is one of the most environmentally responsible lodging choices in Ottawa County. A 10Kw wind turbine mounted at 120 feet provides the bulk of the electrical power for this 4000 sq. ft. residence. Intense recycling, composting, gray water re-use, and low energy usage programs have been in effect for a number of years. Plans are being made for a substantial organic gardening program. Additionally, several friendly hens will be taking up residence on the property in the near future.
At McKenna's Inn, we see no reason why deluxe accommodations in a private and secluded setting cannot also have the added benefits of a low environmental impact.
