The Shaker Heights High School Community Learning Garden was started a few years ago (2012?). The garden replaced a turf area in the high school courtyard. High School and elementary students work together each year to plant, tend, and harvest the produce. The garden is divided into several sections: African-American, European, and Asian. Each section grows plants indigenous to the region.
