Union Community Garden

Overview
The Union Community Garden was founded in the summer of 2009. It was established with the help of Neighborhood Progress, Inc., Slavic Village Development, OSU Extension, and the vastly important work of community members. The garden exists on land that once was occupied by foreclosed and degrading homes.
UCG is a Summer Sprout garden.
The garden won a grant from the Cleveland Colectivo in 2010 to purchase and construct two greenhouses on the garden premises.
