Vel Scott's Purple Oasis Garden is a blend of market, community, and educational gardens with a developing border of native habitat in Cleveland's east side Fairfax neighborhood.
In July 2009, a strawbale greenhouse was constructed with the assistance of the New Agrarian Center and with nearby John Hay High School Students.
