Overview
With 2,800-acres, the Greenbelt Conservancy is New York City’s largest remaining forest preserve. Greenbelt’s Environmental Education Department hosts programs year round, some sponsored by ConEd. There are various membership and volunteer opportunities to get involved in the park’s conservation efforts.
