Overview
Intervale Green, located on Intervale Avenue near Freeman Street in The Bronx, is a new housing development meant for low-income residents. It boasts a green or eco-friendly design, sculpture garden and wireless internet for every apartment. It was finished in December 2008 by the Women's Housing and Economic Development Corporation and received the Federal Energy Star designation, being the largest affordable development in the country to do so.
