History of this Location

Shambhala Asian Day Spa is owned by Priscilla and Hans, who moved to Paraty to open a unique spa to meet the needs of Paraty. The location of the spa is a short distance from the historic area with a view of the mountains. It is a transforming location and beautiful setting with a view of the mountains.

Sustainable Features

Shambhala supports sustainability by selecting partners and support development projects that have a positive and lasting effect on nature, health and society
Their projects include: Paraty Rehabilitation Center, Reserva da Biosfera da Mata Atlantica and the RBMA Sustainable Tourism Program.
