Overview
桃園縣顧名思義原本即是盛產桃花的地方，但桃花樹已不多見，早期曾因遠東第一大水庫－石門水庫的興建而名盛一時，許多觀光客到桃園，勢必要到石門水庫。境內最重要的地點，莫過於台灣桃園國際機場，每年利用台灣桃園機場出入境旅客達二千餘萬人次，對桃園縣來說等於是國家大門之所在，桃園縣亦即「國門之都」。
桃園素以工商大縣、國際機場所在地為大家熟知，然而桃園族群多元的文化加上豐富的山水景觀、草花王國的故鄉、千塘之鄉的美名，交融成屬於桃園的風華面貌，在在顯示桃園是個風景明媚的縣份，境內慈湖蔣公陵寢、後慈湖、頭寮經國先生陵寢、小人國、角板山及拉拉山神木區，都是知名的觀光名勝。
