Overview
Terp Farm is only 15 miles away from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is a two-acre farm for students and the community to get their hands dirty growing vegetables year-round. The farm provides food to dining halls, catering, Green Tidings mobile dining food truck, and those in need in local communities. The farm provides special services to teach future farmers organic methods such as crop rotation, cover cropping, organic fertilizers and more. Individuals who want to start living a sustainable lifestyle can best use this resource to learn about sustainable farming techniques, to eat locally grown food to reduce their carbon footprint, and to invest in local food to enhance the local economy.
