Gulf Coast Signs is a full service UL approved custom electric sign company serving Florida and the United States for more than thirty-four years. Gulf Coast Signs has integrated environmental stewardship into how it does business. The company uses only natural lighting in its office areas during the day, conscientiously reuses paper, cardboard boxes and residue from its sign manufacturing. It has also switched to a new painting method that greatly reduces air pollutants. Gulf Coast Signs engages its employees in its environmental goals and policies at weekly meetings and all other forms of company communications.

Gulf Coast Signs became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2009. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
