Lemon Bay Park is a 210-acre nature-based park located in Englewood with 1.7 miles of shoreline on the beautiful Lemon Bay Aquatic Preserve.
Enjoy a part of natural Florida and learn about the environment in a great place to meet and socialize.
Natural habitats of the park include a black mangrove forest, a mangrove fringe along the shoreline, and pine and scrubby flatwoods.
Within the park are nature trails with interpretive signage, a butterfly garden, a canoe/kayak launch, and a beautiful building with a large veranda.
Educational classes, guided nature and bird walks and a variety of other nature-based programs are offered throughout the year.
Enjoy the serenity of Lemon Bay, whether it is in the morning to enjoy the sweet songs of the early birds, or late evening to observe the glorious sunsets over Manasota Key.
