Dr. Barnett is a double board-certified cosmetic and reconstructive surgeon. Licensed in both Hawaii and Florida, Dr. Barnett is a certified diplomate of the American Board of Surgery and the American Board of Plastic Surgery.

Passionately dedicated to restoring her patients to all-around health and wellness, and working gently and methodically to empower them by improving their outlook on life, Dr. Barnett has combined her expertise in the most advanced plastic, reconstructive, hand and micro-surgical techniques with the wisdom of ancient Eastern healing arts to create a new healing vision. Dr. Barnett also owns Mandala Med-Spa & Yoga Shala; an Indonesian-infused medical and holistic day spa which shares the same building as the Sarasota Institute of Plastic Surgery.

Sarasota Institute of Plastic Surgery became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2013. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
