Landmark Theater
Overview
The Landmark Theater (originally Loew's State) first opened in 1928 with the arrival of silent films. The theater closed a reopened a couple of times but was listed in the National Register of Historic Places in 1976 by the US Dept. of the Interior. It was completely returned to it's original splendor after years of neglect. It's ornate and luxurious interior continue to dazzle and amaze even today. Shows include ballet, symphonies, plays, musicals and concerts.
