Alder Street Garden
Overview
The Alder Street Garden serves both Quincy Elementary School and the broader community. It is managed by Plumas Rural Services' Community Food Network, community volunteers, and school teachers. The Digging In program facilitated by Women's Mountain Passages and PRS offers lessons in agroecology to Quincy El classrooms during the school year, and runs a hands-on, super-fun summer program for 3rd through 6th grade students.
