Overview
Apshawa School is an extraordinary educational community, home to over 250 students in gradesKindergarten through sixth in West Milford, New Jersey.
Our school environment is a place where we instill the love of learning in children and enhance their curiosity of the world around them. In our efforts to lay the foundation for a lifetime of learning ahead, our dedicated and passionate faculty work closely together to assure that the children receive the benefits of collective knowledge, skills, and best instructional practices.
We, at Apshawa School, in partnership with the community, provide a learning environment filled with rich experiences that build upon the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of the whole child. Our school culture embraces respect and trust which incorporates our Apshawa values throughout our school day. We share the understanding that excellence in education is demonstrated by meeting the needs of individual students, while promoting independence and self reflection. We recognize and embrace individual differences and continue to build upon the children's strengths. We continue to prepare our students to be life long learners as well as contributing, compassionate members of the community.
