Methodist House
Overview
29 Mount Avenue at Third
Victorian
Believe it or not, this Victorian house with double porches was the first building of the Methodist church, erected in 1882. When the congregation grew too big for it, it was moved here and converted into a home. Porch eaves and turned columns are joined by mill work "gingerbread" whose pattern differs on the two floors. Colors are currently salmon-pink, cream and tan
