102 Mount Avenue
Located part way up the Mount Avenue hill, adjacent to the old stone bridge over Grand Avenue, this tall narrow structure was probably built in the 1890s. Apparently it was a stone stable with frame living quarters and porches on the second and third floors for the carriage master's family. It was probably a dependency of a large Victorian estate on Ocean Boulevard. The first floor now has a country dining room and kitchen with old ceiling beams, and large colonial-style fireplaces on the first and second floors. it is an example of a bank house, built into a hill.
