Garden of Happiness

The Garden of Happiness is on private property but is open for volunteers. The garden serves the residents of Nuestro Barrio. In the previous location, we were able to take produce to several of the elderly and unemployed residents. There is much weeding to be done and in late spring, we will need to do a complete orientation change to better utilize permaculture principles. We accept compost materials (veg scraps, eggshells and coffee grounds, leaves, etc). We would like to add cut flowers and herbs to the garden.

What participants should bring: shovels, trowel, gloves, water, hat, sunscreen, seeds

Accessibility to bathrooms: none
