Open Works mission is to make tools, technology, and the knowledge to use them accessible to all, providing access to nearly a million dollars’ worth of state-of-the-art equipment for metal fabrication, 3-D printing, sewing, laser cutting, and woodworking. It offers many different tiers of memberships, training classes for all ages, and studio space. OW houses a Greenmount Coffee Lab, invites laptop workers to share the common space, and provides community meeting space as well.
