Taqueria Downtown is a popular taco joint in Jersey City. A cramped spot with loud music, the crowds are always in a good mood when visiting the place, even when having to wait for a table. But once you are seated, free chips and salsa greet you at the table. They have a variety of choices for their taco selection. Favorites are carne asada, pesce, and al pastor. The quality of the food and the experience alone make this Tacqueria worth a visit, but the prices bring it over the top. It is extremely affordable, especially after a long night of drinking.
