Harlequin Paints was started in 1999 by three people passionate about paint and the environment.

Harlequin Paints manufactures only water based products. Our paint range is solvent free which means it contains less than 0.5 gr per litre V.O.C’s (Volatile Organic Compounds).We also manufacture paint technique products, varnishes for furniture and floors, custom made colour ranges for individual companies, scenic paint for the film industry and of course our solvent free wall paint.

Harlequin Paints is the first company in South Africa to produce a range of Solvent free paints.

As a growing company Harlequin Paints can produce small , batches of speciality products and is able to adapt its product range to meet most clients needs.Harlequin paints ethos is, Environmentally friendly, quality, innovative and good honest service. Our aim is to inspire and encourage you to be as passionate about paint and the environment as we are.

We are now also the first carbon neutral paint factory in South Africa.
