An revolving outdoor theater popular among local people and tourists. Various performances including plays for children, opera, music concerts, musicals and Shakespeare plays are performed during June to September.

It is one of the venues for music events during International Music Festival Český Krumlov, which is scheduled during 17 July to 22 August 2009.

As of January 2009, UNESCO is requesting for the removal of the theatre to the adjacent buffer zone site, in order to maintain the authenticity.

住民にも観光客にも愛されている回転式野外劇場。６月から９月にかけて、オペラ、音楽コンサート、子供を対象とした劇、シェイクスピアの劇など多様なパフォーマンスが開催される。

夏の大音楽祭International Music Festival Český Krumlov　（2009年7月17日～8月22日）の際のコンサート会場の一つ。

2009年１月現在、UNESCOは歴史的建築物として不適切だとして、UNESCO指定地域外への移転を要請している。地元住民にとっては、１９５０年代から親しんできた劇場。そのような劇場を残しておくことが、ここの歴史を大切にすることであると思うのだが・・・。。
