Originally a museum for locally-carved wooden decoys, this cultural center promotes the traditions of the area known as North Carolina's "Down East." It includes cultural and heritage exhibits, such as boatbuilding and baseball, and interpretive trails around a freshwater pond. The museum is "history you can touch."
