Springside Nature Reserve is 21ha in extent and comprises wetlands, grasslands, and scarp and swamp forest. The reserve is home to several small mammals and good bird life.
Indigenous flowers in spring are a special feature.

Driving Directions: Travel on the M13 west from Durban to Kloof. Take the Kloof Country Club/Abrey Road off- ramp and turn left. Travel south to the T-junction then turn left into Lyngarth Road. Turn right into Abrey Road, then left into Msonti Road. Follow Msonti Road to the reserve entrance.
