Large Hollowed Tree

This tree was the tallest tree in the City of Ithaca, until it was cut down in 2010. The tree was healthy until the city started trimming it for safety reasons. It has since been “hollowed” by one of the residents on E. Marshall Street, and serves as a play area for children in the area.
