The Jersey City (JC) Food Coop is rooted in the belief that everyone deserves access to nutritious, high-quality food at a fair price. By working with local farmers and investing in our community, they hope to make healthy food available to all who need it. They have already started (Summer 2010) by building a network of JC residents, businesses, and local and regional producers of ethically grown food and other goods. As they grow, their policies and products will continue to reflect their dedication to responsible stewardship of the environment.

They are committed to building a better, healthier JC through member participation, volunteerism, and local reinvestment. Why? Because a healthy community begins with healthy food.
