The Magnet Theater is located on 254 West 29th Street and is an improv center that allows all types of comedic talents to come and learn the craft. They have critically acclaimed shows and classes in improv, musical improv, sketch, storytelling. They also provide ways to reserve your seat to view your one of many types of improv and can reserve up to ten different events online on their website. On the same website you can also sign up for classes. They have different types of packages that allow you to choose from that will fit the experience you are looking for. An example of a package is the Rock Solid Magnet TourCo Package which is a two full 40min sets of improv performed by New York’s top improvisational talent, courtesy of the Magnet Theater. It is something cheap and fun to do if you're in the neighborhood and want to kill an hour.
