緯一路是因蔣緯國而命名，據說早期營區內就有電影院，算是當時最豪華的設備；約民國74年，海陸、步兵裝甲兵皆聚集在那，形成當地熱鬧市集。緯一路營門迄今仍是有軍車通行與檢查哨站，兩側種植榕樹如今已經形成一條蓊鬱的林蔭大道，側邊砌石草溝；當地居民則喜歡於早晨相聚於陰涼的林蔭道做運動。

Wei Yi Rd was named after Weiguo Jiang. It’s said that there’s a movie theater in the camp in the early period. It was the most luxurious facility at that time. Around 1985, the navies and soldiers all gathered there formed a busy market in local areas. The camp door on Wei Yi Rd is still guarded by the army. Two sides of the road are planted with fig trees and it is formed as a green boulevard today. Stoned grassy swale is made along the side of the road. Local people like to gather in a shaded area of the boulevard and do exercises in the morning.
