Initially built in 1901 and renovated in 2004 this station is now home to a stop in Amtrak's Northeast regional service which runs between Boston, MA and Newport News, VA. It has a small museum inside and can be rented for wedding receptions and other special events. This station is listed on the National Register of Historic Places as well as being recognized as a National Historic Landmark and is an important cultural landmark and icon for the city.
