Girls Inc is a non-profit organization that works with girls 6-14 providing daily after school programs,and summer programs to help girls strive to be strong, smart, and bold.

Girls Inc educates for the environment in various different ways, there are specific lesson such as water treatment and aquifer safety, and local, healthy cooking. The organization also thinks about sustainable in terms of how to keep the volunteer and staff base working in a manner that can be sustained for the continued viability of the serves they offer.

Girls Inc utilizes a strong volunteer base and the personal interests and skill sets of the volunteers are used to provide extra programs for the girls that are specific to the set of volunteers at a given time. See website for more info on their programs and hours www.girlsincwayne.org.
