This 4-acre park is ideally situated with visibility from US 41, serves as one of the Legacy Trail trailheads and provides recognition to those who have served and given their lives for the freedom of our country.

This park is situated in a commercial area with a hotel, restaurant and offices within walking distance. Families and friends can relax in the shade and reflect on the memorials throughout the park, or picnic and prepare to take a leisurely ride on the Legacy Trail.

The property was obtained when the Venetia Bay Centre was established in the 1990's. As part of the agreement, the developer agreed to build the new park which includes the pond, restroom, covered picnic area and landscaping. In 2002, the Freedom Walk and Veteran's Memorial were constructed.
