The charity has a successful history of environmental conservation volunteering throughout the UK and around the world - this is it's Cardiff Branch.

We always have a range of practical projects ongoing in order to meet the training needs of our clients. At the moment we are working on a new theme trail at Cwm Carn scenic drive. Tasks include:

Footpath construction
Native planting
Drainage
Dry stonewalling

We are also building a "charcoal burners cabin" at the conservation centre, Forest farm Whitchurch Cardiff, involving:

Bricklaying
Carpentry
Construction of a turf roof

The New deal teams work closely with the volunteer team from Forest Farm and often share projects. We are currently working together on a native tree-planting project at Leckwith Hill, Cardiff.
