My name is David Wilkie, and am a recent arriving new resident to the area. I was a member of the Land O' Lakes, WI Community Garden, and loved growing my veggies organically. The comradery of my fellow gardeners was one of my favorite . Iparts of the garden. I would love to have a plot in the garden, to continue my passion. The USF Sarasota-Manatee Campus building is a LEED certified green building. The building makes use of natural lighting with its large windows. There are solar charging stations for personal electronics such as cell-phones, laptops, etc that can be found in the courtyard. The landscape uses native eco-friendly plants that don’t require a lot of maintenance or mowing. The extended roof keeps the building cool by providing additional shading.
