This home is on track to be the 1st LEED Platinum certified house in Baltimore City. Its floors, cabinets and windowsills were made from wood reclaimed in Baltimore City; has rainbarrels and a rain garden; energy efficiency measures that will reduce the homes energy use by an estimated 60%; solar panels on the roof to provide one-third of the homes electricity. It is the 1000th Habitat for Humanity house in Maryland. Sandtown Habitat for Humanity, Under Armour and USGBC MD partnered to rebuild this dilapidated rowhome in Baltimore City.
