Menstrie Primary School was built in 1978 and is now a growing school, due to a large development of new houses in the village. It is the sole primary school in the village. The school enjoys close working links with Alva Academy and five other associated primary schools: Alva Primary, Coalsnaughton Primary, Muckhart Primary, Strathdevon Primary, Tillicoultry Primary. The school has a roll of 180pupils.
Menstrie Nursery Class is attached to the school.
