The Scandinavian School of Jersey City

The Scandinavian School of Jersey City is the first full-time Scandinavian school on the East Coast, serving children from 10 months to 5 years old. Our families represent not only Scandinavia, but also America and the rest of the world. The majority of our children are bilingual or even tri-lingual, most of them speak at least one Scandinavian language. This is not a requirement, and a few of our families have no ties to Scandinavia at all, but they appreciate the opportunity their children will have of learning another language, spending several hours outside every day as well as being provided healthy, organic and wholesome food.
