新勢公園
개요
新勢公園擁有多項遊樂設施，另外還有極限運動場、攀岩場、槌球場等特殊遊憩設施。但公園最特殊之處就在於「東亞最大的地下礫間接觸曝氣氧化系統」，以自然微生物分解的生態工法，在地底截流處理平鎮地區生活污水，並引入老街溪的河水一同淨化處理，如同為老街溪設置了一座巨大的天然濾水器，最後再將淨化後的水源引入公園生態池，並配置水生植物觀察區；其餘再流入老街溪中，來達到改善水質的目標。
