DESCRIPTION: HSC works hard to meet the needs of the community that are not always addressed.
The major aims of the collaborative are one creating ownership by getting people
involved in the overall design process. Two good design, they inform the people of
the community what is possibly through design. For example, if they were to be
planning to re-do a park they would show each of the possibilities available. Three
educational programs, they exposes children (elementary to high school) to the arts
and art related careers. Finally, four sustainability, they are constantly using recycled
resources and encouraging people of the community to help out and become part of
the project.
