College Park Community Garden
Overview
College Park’s community garden welcomes new and experienced gardeners to plant organic and pesticide-free crops for personal or communal use. The garden promotes sustainable agricultural techniques such as composting, soil enrichment and the use of biodegradable mulch. It provides a place for community members to grow foods locally, reducing the carbon emissions caused by the transportation of food. Community volunteers help maintain the garden and promote healthy eating and environmental awareness. College Park Community Garden is located just north of the Old Town Playground.
