Suncoast Defensive Driving School is dedicated to providing the very best quality In-Car Instruction of defensive driving techniques for Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice and North Port areas. Suncoast believes that driving requires practice and the more practice you receive, the better you get. In simple terms, defensive driving means identifying potential hazards before they become immediate hazards. Suncoast utilizes Honda Civic Hybrids that operate by combining an electric motor and gasoline motor, making the vehicles exceptionally fuel-efficient and providing ultra-low emissions.

Suncoast Defensive Driving School became a Sarasota County Green Business Partner in 2006. The Green Business Partnership (GBP) encourages environmental stewardship in the commercial sector, and recognizes businesses that make an extra effort to operate in an environmentally responsible manner. This collaborative effort includes businesses, business organizations and local governments. The GBP was initiated through a grant awarded by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection to Sarasota County.
