Accessible by steps, Limeslade is a small bay surrounded by cliffs with a pebble and sandy cove. Excellent refreshment facilities are situated nearby and the coastal walk to Langland is very picturesque. The Bay is close to a car park, picnic and children’s play area. Limeslade has been awarded both Rural Blue Flag and Green Coast status.

Always check the weather and local conditions before going in the sea, as some Gower beaches experience strong tides or currents.

Further Information
The Seaside Award recognises well-managed beaches which are clean and relatively safe. There are two award categories: resort and rural. A resort beach must fulfill 29 criteria and a rural beach 13. Both must comply with Bathing Water Standards.
