One of the goals for the BWG is to establish a healthy green edge to Brooklyn, including the integration of sustainable stormwater management. By designing the landscape in such a way the Greenway can provide an effective means for treating the stormwater generated within it's borders. The focus of this stormwater study is West Street, the northern most stretch of the Greenway.
