CGRN Tool Bank at Reservoir Hill Improvement Council

The Community Greening Resource Network (CGRN) is an annual membership program assisting individuals, community gardens and green spaces throughout the City of Baltimore. CGRN, sponsored by the Parks & People Foundation, is a partnership between nonprofits, government agencies, academic institutions, community associations, local businesses and gardens throughout the City of Baltimore. For a nominal yearly fee, CGRN provides access to the materials, resources, education, and connections needed to develop and maintain a sustainable green space. CGRN welcomes members, partners, volunteers, and contributions.
Reservoir Hill Improvement Council is one of five CGRN Community Tool Libraries throughout the city that serve as focal points for material distribution, tool rentals, and focus group meetings. Members of CGRN receive access to these tools throughout the calendar year to assist them with garden installation, maintenance and community clean-ups. Typical Tool Library inventory includes the following tools: Shovels (flat and pointed); Rakes (metal and leaf); Hoes; Hand trowels; Pruners; Loppers; Clippers; Wheelbarrows; Buckets; Post Hole Diggers; Hammers; Wrenches; Gloves; Hand Cultivators; Compost Forks; Pick Axes
