Venture Richmond, working in partnership with Lewis Ginter Botanical Garden, City departments, and local businesses, transformed 13 blocks in the downtown Arts and Culture District in October 2013. Forty-nine planters including over 1,200 new plants were added along the Broad Street median, from Belvidere to 11th. Additional plants were placed along the 400 block of Grace St. Landscape installation occurred over two work days with volunteer labor and financial support from Capital One.
