University City Recycling Drop-off Center

Located behind the University City community center and Accessible to anyone during daylight hours the following items can be dropped off to be recycled:

·Plastic, Glass, Steel, Tin and Aluminum containers (glass; tin/steel cans; aluminum cans; plastics with the recycle code #1, #2, #3, #4, #5 and #7, #6)

·Telephone books and paper back books

·Cell phones

·Corrugated cardboard, chipboard, cereal boxes, waxy cardboard containers

·Beverage containers, aseptic packaging, gable top containers (milk & juice cartons)

·Newsprint, glossy magazines, junk mail, office paper (drop in large blue container)

·Textiles, including clothing, shoes and towels

the following CANNOT be processed here:

·#6 plastic, Styrofoam or other polystyrene items

·Hardcover books

·Electronics
