Overview
Perhaps the favorite spot in Lower Bidwell Park for most Chicoans, One Mile has it all--swimming (with lifeguards), sports, picnicking, a wildly whimsical children's playground, horseshoes, a fire ring, a bandstand, BBQs, gorgeous, enormous shade trees, restrooms and more. All sorts of public events--from Independence Day Festivities to Yoga in the Park to Family Movie Nights--are held here, and picnic space is reserve-able for a small fee.
